: an uncommon disease of unknown cause that is characterized chiefly by inflammation of small blood vessels and granuloma formation especially in the upper and lower respiratory tracts and kidneys and typically has an onset during the ages of 40 to 65

Note: Symptoms of granulomatosis with polyangiitis include fatigue, fever, weight loss, runny nose, nosebleed, sinus pain, cough, shortness of breath, and skin sores. Left untreated, granulomatosis with polyangiitis can progress to life-threatening organ failure especially of the kidneys or lungs.
